Inside Fūga · Indie fashion Deeper into Indie fashion

Indie fashion at Fūga Studios — fashion off the beaten path, curated between Berlin and Poznan. Vintage cuts, DIY attitude and pieces not built on repetition.

What defines indie fashion.

Indie fashion thrives on the opposite of obvious. No logo walls, no hype cycles. Instead: faded textures, loose fits, flannel shirts next to leather jackets, cord next to denim. The style nods to subcultures from grunge to post-punk without committing to any one. For a deeper dive, find it in the Indie Attire collection the basics.

How to assemble indie outfits.

An open flannel shirt over a band tee, paired with straight-cut jeans and boots. Or: an oversized knit sweater with cargo pants and canvas sneakers. The rule is there are none — as long as the look reads record store, not shopping mall. The Indie Emo collection brings the darker variant.

Haeufige Fragen

What does indie fashion mean?

Indie stands for independent — fashion that breaks free from mass trends. The style blends vintage, grunge and DIY elements into a look that values individuality over conformity.

What is indie sleaze?

A sub-style that taps the unpolished party aesthetic of the early 2010s. Tight jeans, ripped band tees, leather and a deliberately casual attitude toward perfection.

Which clothing pieces belong to the indie style?

Flannel shirts, band tees, cord pants, leather jackets, knit sweaters, straight jeans, canvas sneakers and boots. Accessories like tote bags and silver rings complete the look.

Opium.

Opium comes out of the gap between Berghain wardrobe and Streetwear cut. We read the same material through our lens.

Techwear.

Techwear started here as a translation of Tokyo reduction into fabric. Errolson Hugh, Acronym, GORE-TEX, ergonomic cuts — and parallel to that, Japanese discipline: nothing superfluous, all function.

Streetwear.

Streetwear is the root — the first designs out of Tokyo 2015 were Anime prints, Japanese characters, Harajuku graphics. Everything else grew from that, but the line keeps running.

Fūga

風雅

Fūga isn't for everyone.

Berlin Plattenbau origins, Asia-inspired. Creative, but never fully fitting into the system. Tokyo 2015 as the starting point — six niche phases since then.

Today: Berlin · Shanghai · Tokyo · Poznań. We know our designers by name. Limited drops, no restocks.

We aren't dropouts. We know the system — went through training, worked, kept building. Both sides hold.
