Inside Fūga · Outerwear Deeper into Outerwear

The outermost layer decides how an outfit reads — at Fūga Studios, outerwear is never an afterthought.

Conceived from the street

Techwear parkas with sealed seams and modular pockets. Bomber jackets in Streetwear proportions. Long coats that draw from Korean outerwear and Opium silhouettes. Every jacket and coat follows an aesthetic anchored between Tokyo, Seoul and Berlin — not on the runway.

Layering with outerwear

A Techwear parka over hoodie and cargo pants for the urban utility look. A long black coat over a slim fit for the Opium line. A bomber jacket over graphic tee and loose pants — Streetwear that doesn't need explaining. Outerwear sets the silhouette, everything underneath falls in line.

Häufige Fragen

What counts as outerwear in Streetwear?

Outerwear covers all top layers worn over the rest of your fit — jackets, coats, parkas, vests. In Streetwear, outerwear is often the central statement piece of a look.

Which jackets define Techwear?

Hardshell parkas, windbreakers with membrane and modular jackets with detachable parts. Function comes first — but form follows its own aesthetic, not the outdoor industry.

How do I style a long coat in a Streetwear context?

Slim pants or tight jeans underneath to get the proportions right. Chunky boots or platform soles balance the length. The coat carries the look — everything else stays restrained.

Opium.

Opium comes out of the gap between Berghain wardrobe and Streetwear cut. We read the same material through our lens.

Techwear.

Techwear started here as a translation of Tokyo reduction into fabric. Errolson Hugh, Acronym, GORE-TEX, ergonomic cuts — and parallel to that, Japanese discipline: nothing superfluous, all function.

Streetwear.

Streetwear is the root — the first designs out of Tokyo 2015 were Anime prints, Japanese characters, Harajuku graphics. Everything else grew from that, but the line keeps running.

Fūga

風雅

Fūga isn't for everyone.

Berlin Plattenbau origins, Asia-inspired. Creative, but never fully fitting into the system. Tokyo 2015 as the starting point — six niche phases since then.

Today: Berlin · Shanghai · Tokyo · Poznań. We know our designers by name. Limited drops, no restocks.

We aren't dropouts. We know the system — went through training, worked, kept building. Both sides hold.
