Berlin
Plattenbau-hardness and Berghain-aesthetic.
Berlin · Shanghai · Tokyo · Poznań
Fūga is for those who never quite fit in.
Who we are
We learned to adapt — fitting in everywhere, never fully belonging anywhere. That was always our trick and our problem at the same time. Creative, but not fully inside the system. Smart enough to read the system, too unaligned to dissolve into it.
At some point this in-between position stopped being the problem — and became the brand.
Fashion was always a tool for us — like music. Something you use to say who you are, without having to say it.
Fūga
風雅
The name
In Japanese, an artistic posture — the tradition of haiku, of observing nature, of perceiving the plain as the deepest. Bashō called it „fūga no makoto" — the truth behind the style.
風 (wind, style) — what passes through and leaves traces.
雅 (grace, refinement) — what you only see once you've learned how to look.
Taste as a school of perception, not a buying decision.
The geography
What we wear is born exactly between these four poles.
Plattenbau-hardness and Berghain-aesthetic.
Neon, chaos, speed.
Reduction, layers, discipline.
Today. Where Fūga is registered.
We're small
Our designers are friends — people we know from life, not from seasonal pitches. They had the same struggles we did: not finding a place in the system, when the system wasn't built for you. Creatives who built something on the side, or against the current.
That's exactly why they can make what comes out of Fūga — and exactly why it stands for what it stands for.
We're not dropouts. We know the system — went through training, worked, kept building. Without letting it absorb us. Both can be done.
How Fūga evolved
What started as Streetwear in Tokyo has shifted over the years — through different phases, our own and collective.
01
The first designs. Anime prints, Harajuku script, Tokyo connection.
02
Functional, layered, dark. Tokyo-reduction translated into fabric.
03
Heavier, uncompromising, more shadow. Grew parallel to Techwear.
04
Berghain-aesthetic with street cuts. Raw, black, Berlin avant-garde meets Streetwear.
05
Cyberpunk meets Berghain-floor. Reflective, tactical, sound-system-ready.
06
Tailored cuts with Streetwear logic. Getting older without going 0815. Staying edgy.
What comes next, we'll write when it's time.
Who wears Fūga
Who don't pull their identity out of a drawer. Who know the system but aren't fully in it. Smart, non-conformist, aware.
We feel the same. That's exactly why this exists.
If you ever felt like you were living somewhere in-between — then you're in the right place.
