What defines Poetcore as a style
A wardrobe standing between Victorian romance and modern minimalism. Wide shirts, structured blazers, draped scarves and high-waisted trousers. The look references Byron, Keats and the Parisian left — without becoming historical costume. Fūga curates pieces that translate the literary gesture into wearable form.
Wearing Poetcore — without the theater stage
A cream oversized shirt, a dark blazer over it, wide trousers with box pleats. Monochrome in beige, black or gray works immediately. If you want to layer: knit vest over shirt, coat over that. Accessories stay restrained — rings, a narrow belt, maybe a scarf. The Poetcore Fashion Guide breaks the style into single building blocks.
What the collection holds.
Blazers, oversized shirts, draped tops, wide trousers and layering pieces in muted palette. The Poetcore Tops form the foundation, the Poetcore Men collection shows the masculine reading. Limited drops, no restocks.
Korean fashion demands finesse.
What is Poetcore?
Poetcore is a style that translates romantic elements — flowing fabrics, soft colors, Victorian-inspired cuts — into a modern, minimalist wardrobe. The look stands for intellectual aesthetics without costume character.
What are the essential pieces for a Poetcore look?
Oversized shirts, structured blazers, wide high-waisted trousers, knit vests and draped scarves. The color palette moves in cream, beige, black and gray. Layering is central.
How does Poetcore differ from Dark Academia?
Poetcore emphasizes flowing, softer silhouettes and romantic fabrics, while Dark Academia leans harder into structured preppy elements like tweed, checks and tight cuts. Both share the literary reference but differ in texture and fit.

Fūga
風雅
Fūga isn't for everyone.
Berlin Plattenbau origins, Asia-inspired. Creative, but never fully fitting into the system. Tokyo 2015 as the starting point — six niche phases since then.
Today: Berlin · Shanghai · Tokyo · Poznań. We know our designers by name. Limited drops, no restocks.
We aren't dropouts. We know the system — went through training, worked, kept building. Both sides hold.
How Fūga evolved
One line. No closed worlds.
What started as Streetwear in Tokyo has shifted over the years — through different phases, our own and collective.
01
Streetwear / Anime
The first designs. Anime prints, Harajuku characters, Tokyo connection.
02
Techwear
Functional, layered, dark. Tokyo reduction translated into fabric.
03
Gothic
Heavier, uncompromising, more shadow. Grew up parallel to Techwear.
04
Opium
Berghain aesthetic with street cuts. Raw, black, Berlin avant-garde meets Streetwear.
05
Rave
Cyberpunk meets the Berghain floor. Reflective, tactical, sound-system ready.
06
Businesscore
Tailored cuts with Streetwear logic. Growing older without going 9-to-5. Stay edgy.
What comes next, we'll write when the time comes.
