€154,99Muted colors, heavy fabrics, cuts that recall library corridors. Dark Academia at Fūga Studios translates the aesthetic code of Oxford tweed and Ivy League silhouettes into pieces that work on the street — not just on Pinterest boards.
What defines Dark Academia fashion.
Earth tones, wool, layers. Blazers over turtlenecks, high-waisted trousers, coats that reach the knee. The palette moves between brown, dark green, burgundy, and black. Patterns — checks, houndstooth, stripes — appear sparingly. The Dark Academia Fashion Guide shows how the individual elements work together.
Styling between literature and daily life.
Dark Academia works in layers. A shirt under a knit sweater, topped with a structured coat. Accessories stay restrained: leather belts, simple rings, a bag with patina. To break up the look, you can mix in Dark Boho elements — softer fabrics, more flowing cuts.
Nothing matches; everything harmonizes.
Sweaters, trousers, coats, tops and accessories — curated on the premise: wearable, not costume. Pieces that stand alone in daily life and together carry the aesthetic.
Korean fashion demands finesse.
What is Dark Academia?
An aesthetic that visually cites classical education, old libraries, and European university culture. In fashion, that means: earth tones, tweed, wool, layers — a style that values intellect over volume.
What are typical Dark Academia garments?
Blazers, turtlenecks, high-waisted trousers, knee-length coats, Oxford shoes. Plus accessories like leather belts and simple rings. Patterns such as houndstooth or checks add accents.
What is the opposite of Dark Academia?
Light Academia uses bright colors — cream, beige, pastel tones — and softer silhouettes. The core idea remains similar, but the mood is less dramatic.

Fūga
風雅
Fūga isn't for everyone.
Berlin Plattenbau origins, Asia-inspired. Creative, but never fully fitting into the system. Tokyo 2015 as the starting point — six niche phases since then.
Today: Berlin · Shanghai · Tokyo · Poznań. We know our designers by name. Limited drops, no restocks.
We aren't dropouts. We know the system — went through training, worked, kept building. Both sides hold.
How Fūga evolved
One line. No closed worlds.
What started as Streetwear in Tokyo has shifted over the years — through different phases, our own and collective.
01
Streetwear / Anime
The first designs. Anime prints, Harajuku characters, Tokyo connection.
02
Techwear
Functional, layered, dark. Tokyo reduction translated into fabric.
03
Gothic
Heavier, uncompromising, more shadow. Grew up parallel to Techwear.
04
Opium
Berghain aesthetic with street cuts. Raw, black, Berlin avant-garde meets Streetwear.
05
Rave
Cyberpunk meets the Berghain floor. Reflective, tactical, sound-system ready.
06
Businesscore
Tailored cuts with Streetwear logic. Growing older without going 9-to-5. Stay edgy.
What comes next, we'll write when the time comes.
