What's the difference between jeans and denim?

Denim is the fabric, a diagonally woven cotton textile. Jeans is the garment sewn from it. Every pair of jeans is made from denim, but denim also becomes jackets, skirts and shirts.

Which jeans look slimming?

A dark, even wash stretches the most. A high waistline and straight leg lengthen the line further. Light used effects on the thighs do the opposite.

What two types of denim exist?

There's Raw Denim, which arrives unwashed and stiff, and washed denim, which is pre-treated and soft from the start. Crosswise runs the split between rigid and stretch denim.
